Cybert uses ded-reckoning to plot his course on a map. When he encounters an obstacle he stops and asks it to move. If it doesn’t get out of the way within a few seconds, he scans left and right, looking for the best path around the obstruction. Once he gets past the object he recalculates a new path to his destination.
